Two-Pack USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 Cables

This two-pack supplies two USB-C to USB-C cables built to the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 standard. Each cable handles up to 20 Gbps data transfer, 100 W power delivery and 4K 60 Hz video output. The three-metre length suits desk or studio layouts where devices sit farther apart.

Replaces Slower USB-C Cables

The jump is worth it when you move large files to external SSDs, drive a 4K 60 Hz monitor or charge a 100 W laptop from one cable. Older USB 3.0 or 3.1 Gen 1 cables top out at 5 Gbps and often lack 100 W PD or video alt-mode support. This pair removes those bottlenecks for compatible hosts and peripherals.

Plug-and-Play With Alt-Mode Checks

Both ends are male USB-C so installation is a simple connection. The cable works only when the host port and the display or dock both support DisplayPort Alt Mode and the charger negotiates PD 3.0 or QC protocols. If either device lacks alt-mode or 100 W PD, video or full-speed charging will not activate.

Questions about this item

What length is the cable so I can check if it reaches my monitor?

Each cable is 3 meters (10 feet) long, giving plenty of reach between a laptop and a 4K display.

Do I need to install any driver or software before using the cable?

No driver is required; plug both USB-C ends into devices that support USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 and DP Alt Mode for 20 Gbps data and 4K 60 Hz video.

Will the USB-C connectors wear out from daily plugging and unplugging?

The male-to-male USB-C connectors are rated for thousands of insertion cycles, so normal daily use will not degrade the 100 W charging or 20 Gbps data performance.
