SDI to HDMI Converter with Loopout

The ESTONE SDI2HDMI converts SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI signals to HDMI for display on standard monitors. It accepts one BNC input and provides simultaneous HDMI and SDI loopout outputs. Auto format detection handles 480i, 576i, 720p and 1080i/p at 24, 25, 30, 50 and 60 Hz. Embedded audio up to eight channels at 48 kHz is passed through the HDMI port. Power is supplied via USB at 5 V, 1 A.

Check Your Source and Cabling

Verify that your camera or switcher outputs genuine SDI over BNC, not RF, CVBS, AHD, TVI or CVI. Confirm the signal format is within the supported SMPTE 259, 274, 292, 296, 372, 424 or 425 standards. Measure cable runs: 3G-SDI reaches 300 ft, HD-SDI 500 ft and SD-SDI 1000 ft. The loopout repeats the input for up to 300 ft. Ensure a 5 V, 1 A USB power source is available.

Upgrade From Analog or Single-Output Adapters

This unit replaces older converters that lack loop-through or auto detection across SD, HD and 3G rates. The jump is worth it when you need simultaneous HDMI monitoring and SDI distribution without re-clocking externally. It does not serve HDMI-to-SDI workflows or 4K UHD requirements.
