This ESTONE SW245-1DP1HD KVM switch lets one keyboard, one mouse and two displays manage four computers. Each connected PC must provide both an HDMI and a DisplayPort output to use the dual-monitor modes. The unit suits home-office workers, developers and multi-system streamers who want a single desk setup without cable swapping.

Build integration and freed resources

The switch accepts four USB 3.0 Type-A upstream cables from the PCs and presents four downstream USB 3.0 ports for shared peripherals such as printers, scanners or external drives. A 12 V 1 A external power adapter is included, so the switch draws no power from the host USB ports. Front-panel push buttons, a wired desktop controller and an IR remote give three ways to change the active computer.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

Passive cooling keeps the aluminium enclosure silent during operation. The external 12 V 1 A supply handles all switching and USB hub power, leaving the connected computers unaffected. LED indicators show the selected port without adding audible noise or measurable heat to the workspace.
