The ESTONE TJ-A036 splits one DisplayPort 1.4 source into three DisplayPort 1.4 outputs. It supports SST mirror mode for identical images or MST extended mode for three independent displays. The hub requires a 5 V external power supply delivered through the included USB-A to Micro-B cable. It is built for users who need a multi-monitor workstation or digital-signage array from a single MST-capable port.

Upgrade from single-display outputs

Moving from a single-monitor connection to this hub adds two extra screens without a second graphics output. The jump is worthwhile when the source device supports DisplayPort 1.4 MST and the workload benefits from extended desktop space. If the source lacks MST or only drives one stream, the hub cannot extend the desktop across three panels.

Bandwidth and resolution limits

The 32.4 Gbps DisplayPort 1.4 link caps a single display at 7680×4320 at 30 Hz or 3840×2160 at 144 Hz. Dual 4K at 60 Hz and triple 2560×1600 are possible only with HDR disabled. Pushing higher refresh rates or colour depth on multiple screens will exceed the available bandwidth.
