USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 Cable 10 ft

This 10 ft cable connects a USB-C or Thunderbolt host to a DisplayPort 1.4 monitor. It supports 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz, and 2K at 240 Hz with HDR and HDCP 2.2. The unidirectional design carries video from source to display only. Solid copper conductors and triple shielding protect signal integrity over the full length.

DisplayPort 1.4 bandwidth and DSC limits

DisplayPort 1.4 provides 32.4 Gbps maximum bandwidth. The cable uses DSC 1.2 compression to reach 8K 60 Hz 10-bit HDR within that limit. Without DSC the link falls back to lower resolutions or refresh rates. HDCP 2.2 and 1.4 are supported for protected content. The cable is backward compatible with DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1 displays.

Upgrade from older USB-C video cables

Replaces cables limited to DisplayPort 1.2 or 1.3 that max out at 4K 60 Hz or 4K 120 Hz. The jump is worth it when the monitor and host both support DisplayPort 1.4 and the user needs 8K 60 Hz, 4K 144 Hz, or 2K 240 Hz. It also adds MST daisy-chaining for multi-monitor setups from a single port.
