Connects a Mini DisplayPort source to a DisplayPort 1.4 display at up to 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz with 32.4 Gbps bi‑directional bandwidth
The ESTONE TJ-A092 is a bi-directional adapter that converts a Mini DisplayPort 1.4 source to a full-size DisplayPort 1.4 display. It suits users connecting laptops or compact workstations with Mini DP outputs to standard monitors, TVs or projectors. The plug-and-play design requires no drivers and includes a unique A-shaped housing for easy grip. It is sold as a two-pack for multi-display setups.
A built-in 8K transfer protocol chip maintains signal quality up to 32.4 Gbps bandwidth across the short 1-inch length. The adapter draws power directly from the source port without an external supply, adding negligible load to the system. Passive operation means zero fan noise and no thermal throttling concerns during extended 8K60 or 4K144 sessions. Gold-plated connectors resist oxidation for stable long-term contact.
The two-pack lets you drive two displays from separate Mini DP outputs simultaneously, useful for dual-monitor productivity or presentation mirroring. Audio and video transmit together over the single link, simplifying cabling for TVs with built-in speakers. Thunderbolt ports are not supported even if physically identical, so verify your source is native Mini DisplayPort. Backward compatibility with DisplayPort 1.2 ensures function with older hosts at reduced resolutions.

Plug the DisplayPort male connector into your source device and the Mini DisplayPort female end into your display cable. Ensure the Mini DisplayPort port on your monitor supports video input, as Thunderbolt ports are not supported.
The adapter has no moving parts or firmware. Inspect the gold-plated connectors occasionally for dust or oxidation. Replace the unit if the housing cracks or signal drops appear at 8K 60Hz or 4K 144Hz.
The 32.4 Gbps bandwidth ceiling of the DisplayPort 1.4 link is the hard limit. Pushing beyond 8K 7680x4320 at 60 Hz or 4K 3840x2160 at 144 Hz will cause signal instability.
