Questions about this item

What resolution and refresh rate does the 48 Gbps bandwidth limit you to under sustained use?

The switch is rated for 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz over its 48 Gbps HDMI 2.1 links.

Does the box add noticeable heat or fan noise during all-day operation?

It has no fan and draws only 5 V at 1 A, so heat and noise stay minimal in continuous use.

Which cables and power source must I already have to connect four sources and one display?

You need four HDMI 2.1 cables for the inputs, one HDMI 2.1 cable for the output, and a USB or mains 5 V 1 A adapter for the DC power port.
