USB4 cable 6.6ft 40Gbps

This USB4 cable connects USB-C devices with a male-to-male reversible connector. It is built for users who need high-speed data, video output and up to 100W charging in a single 2 metre braided cable. The black nylon jacket adds durability for daily carry or desk use.

40Gbps data and 8K video headroom

The cable supports the USB4 Gen 3x2 standard at 40Gbps, so large file transfers and external SSD workflows run at full throttle. It drives a single display at 8K 60Hz or 5K 60Hz, and handles 4K at up to 144Hz or 2K at 240Hz. Dual 4K monitors require two cables, and video only works when the host port supports DP Alternate Mode.

100W PD 3.1 charging with broad backward

Power Delivery 3.1 at 20V/5A charges a MacBook Pro to full in about 1.5 hours, while PD 3.0 PPS, QC4.0 and other fast-charge protocols cover phones and tablets. The cable is backward compatible with Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.2, 3.1 and 3.0 hosts. It does not suit buyers who need longer reach than 6.6ft or who require Thunderbolt 4 certification logos on the plug.

Questions about this item

Will the 40Gbps USB4 cable work with my older Thunderbolt 3 dock and drives?

Yes, the cable is backwards compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and USB 3.2, 3.1, 3.0 devices, so it will function with existing docks and drives at their supported speeds.

How can I verify the cable is delivering 100W charging and 8K@60Hz video after connecting it?

Check your laptop's power meter to confirm 20V/5A input and ensure the external display reports 7680x4320 at 60Hz in its on-screen menu or OS display settings.

Does the 6.6ft black cable include a power adapter or video adapters for HDMI and DisplayPort?

Only the USB-C to USB-C cable is included; a 100W PD charger and any HDMI or DisplayPort adapters must be purchased separately.
