The ESTONE U310 is a 33 ft active USB 3.0 extension cable that uses two built-in signal booster chips to maintain SuperSpeed data rates over distances far beyond the standard passive limit. It connects a USB Type A male plug to a Type A female port, letting you position peripherals such as VR headsets, external drives, printers or webcams well away from the host computer.

Supplied 5 V / 2 A power adapter

A dedicated 5 V 2 A power adapter is included in the box and must be connected whenever the attached device draws more than 900 mA. This external power ensures the booster chips receive stable current and provides full back-pressure protection so long-distance transfers stay reliable even with power-hungry hard drives or VR equipment.

USB 3.0 distance and bandwidth ceiling

The cable is rated for 5 Gbps SuperSpeed USB 3.0, roughly ten times the 480 Mbps ceiling of USB 2.0, but that rate is only guaranteed when the active electronics are powered and the total length stays within the 16 ft to 100 ft design window. Without the supplied adapter, or beyond the maximum supported span, signal integrity cannot be maintained and the link will fall back to lower speeds or drop entirely.
