Plug-and-play with optional power

Installation is driver-free on all listed operating systems; simply connect the switch and press the button to change the active computer. LED indicators show which system currently owns the ports. A micro-USB female port accepts a standard 5 V adapter, sold separately, to stabilise power-hungry devices such as external hard drives or SSDs. Using any charger with a higher voltage output is not allowed and may affect product performance.

The switch provides four USB 3.0 ports that two computers share one at a time. It comfortably handles typical peripherals including printers, scanners, keyboards, mice, card readers and flash drives.
