What this cable delivers

This 1.64ft USB4 cable carries 40Gbps data and up to 240W power over a USB C to USB C male-to-male link. It suits users who need maximum throughput and charging from a single short connection.

Thermals and power in use

The cable supports 48V at 5A for 240W delivery under PD3.1, compatible with PD3.0 and PD2.0. The aluminium-alloy and nylon-braided construction handles the current without excess heat during normal operation.

Deciding specification

Choose this cable when the device and host both require 40Gbps USB4 or Thunderbolt 3 performance and 240W charging. It will not provide those speeds or power levels if either end lacks USB4 or Thunderbolt 3 support.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 1.64ft ESTONE USB4 cable and what step do people often miss?

Plug the male USB-C connectors firmly into both Thunderbolt 3 or 4 ports until they click; the step often missed is confirming the host and device both support 40Gbps and 240W PD 3.1 so the cable can negotiate its maximum speed and power.

What maintenance or replacement will the aluminium-alloy nylon-braided 40Gbps cable need later?

No scheduled maintenance is required; inspect the braided jacket and connector housings periodically for wear or kinks, and replace the cable if the 240W charging or 8K 60Hz video becomes unreliable.

What limit appears first when the 240W 48V 5A cable runs at full load for a long period?

The 240W power ceiling is the first hard limit; sustained 48V 5A delivery will throttle if the connected charger or device cannot maintain the full PD 3.1 contract.
