ESTONE YCY-2353 USB 3.0 capture card

The ESTONE YCY-2353 is a USB 3.0 video capture device that accepts one HDMI input and passes through a second HDMI output. It draws under 2.5 W from the host so no external power supply is required. Streamers, educators and conference-room operators can connect cameras, consoles or PCs and record or broadcast directly to Windows, macOS, Linux or Android machines. Buyers who need simultaneous multi-source capture or internal PCIe bandwidth will not be served by this single-input dongle.

1080p 60 Hz capture with 4K 30 Hz passthrough

The HDMI input accepts signals up to 4K at 30 Hz and 1080p at 60 Hz, while the USB 3.0 link delivers 300–350 MB/s throughput for recording at 1080p 60 fps. Audio is captured at 48 kHz PCM alongside the video stream. The device cannot record 4K 60 Hz sources or capture at frame rates beyond 60 fps, so high-refresh-rate gaming at 4K remains out of reach.

HDMI loop-through and broad software support

A built-in HDMI output mirrors the incoming signal to a monitor or projector with zero added latency, letting the presenter view the source while the PC records. The package includes a USB 3.0 cable and a user manual; drivers are not required because the device follows UVC and UAC standards, so OBS, VLC and most third-party capture apps recognise it immediately. Users who expect bundled recording software or hardware encoding presets will need to provide their own.

Questions about this item

Will the USB 3.0 connection work with my older PC that only has USB 2.0 ports?

The capture card is backward compatible with USB 2.0, though throughput will be limited compared to the 300–350 MB/s available on USB 3.0.

How can I confirm the device is capturing at 1080p 60 Hz after I plug it in?

Open your recording software and verify the preview shows 1920×1080 at 60 fps; the LED indicator on the unit will also be lit when a valid signal is detected.

Does the package include an HDMI cable for connecting my console, or do I need to buy one separately?

The box contains the capture card, a USB 3.0 cable, and a user manual; an HDMI cable is not included and must be purchased separately.
