Included power and documentation

A 5 V DC power supply and a user manual ship with the converter so it can operate without drawing power from the source device. No cables for the component or HDMI side are provided, so you must supply your own 5 RCA lead and an HDMI cable.

Check your source and display first

Verify that the sending device has a YPbPr component output, not a composite RCA jack, because the converter cannot process composite signals. The unit only converts from component to HDMI and cannot be used in reverse, and your display must accept 1080p at 60 Hz over HDMI 1.4.
