This eSUN PETG filament comes on a 1 kg spool with a 1.75 mm diameter suited for all FDM 3D printers. The material combines the toughness of ABS with the low warping and ease of printing associated with PLA. It delivers high gloss, good impact resistance, chemical resistance and weather resistance for functional parts and prototypes. Buyers who need a soluble support material or a flexible TPU filament will not find those properties here.

Installation and common issues

The spool is vacuum sealed with desiccant and wound to prevent tangles, so it feeds smoothly without overlapping or clogging the nozzle. Dimensional tolerance is held to ±0.05 mm to ensure consistent extrusion and stable layer bonding. Print at 230–250 °C with a bed at 75–90 °C and 100 % fan speed for best adhesion. If the printer sits idle for more than a couple of days, retract the filament to protect the nozzle.

Behaviour under sustained load

PETG maintains good mechanical strength and stability during long prints, resisting warping and cracking better than many alternatives. The material’s high toughness and layer adhesion hold up over extended build times of 350–355 m per spool. Continuous printing at 40–100 mm/s with the recommended temperatures yields consistent surface finish without bubbles or stringing. Store unused filament sealed to preserve these properties over multiple sessions.
