eSUN Super Tough PLA is a modified polylactic acid formulated for functional parts that must absorb impact without snapping. It targets engineers, product designers and makers who print brackets, gears, enclosures or drone components on standard FDM printers. The material retains PLA’s low warp and easy adhesion while delivering markedly higher elongation and toughness.

90 % elongation at break

The defining figure is an elongation at break of up to 90 %, which is roughly eleven times the impact strength of ordinary PLA. That ductility lets printed parts flex under sudden load instead of fracturing, making the spool suitable for mechanical models, structural prototypes and end-use components in industrial design, consumer electronics and automotive test rigs.

Vacuum-sealed spool with desiccant

Each 1 kg reel ships in a vacuum bag with a desiccant pack, keeping the 1.75 mm filament dry and dust-free until first use. The tight ±0.05 mm diameter tolerance and careful winding prevent tangles and nozzle clogging, while the recommended 200–230 °C nozzle and 45–60 °C bed temperatures work on most FDM machines without hardware changes.
