Two-Port DisplayPort KVM Switch

This new ETECH KVM switch lets you control two computers with one monitor, keyboard, mouse, and up to three USB 2.0 peripherals. It includes two DisplayPort cables and two USB cables for immediate plug-and-play setup. The unit supports video resolutions up to 3840x2160 at 60 Hz for sharp Ultra HD output.

For Dual-PC Desks Without Hotkey Needs

It suits users who want a tidy workspace sharing a single 4K display and USB devices between two systems. Switching is done via a front-panel button or the supplied remote control. Buyers who require keyboard hotkey switching should look at a different model, as this function is not supported.

4K at 60 Hz Over DisplayPort

The decisive specification is the maximum supported video resolution of 3840x2160 at 60 Hz. If your monitor or source devices need a higher refresh rate at 4K, or a different video interface, this switch will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

Does the box include the cables I need to connect both computers, or must I buy them separately?

Two DisplayPort cables and two USB cables are supplied, so both computers can be connected straight away.

How do I decide between the panel button and the remote for switching?

The panel button sits on the unit itself; the remote lets you toggle from a distance — pick whichever suits your desk layout.

What does the 3840×2160 @ 60Hz figure mean when I hook up my monitor?

It means the switch passes a 4K image at 60 frames per second without downscaling, provided your monitor and graphics cards also support that rate.
