16-Channel H.265 DVR with 4TB Storage

This 16-channel digital video recorder uses H.265 compression to capture footage from up to 16 analog, AHD, TVI or CVI cameras. A 4TB hard drive comes pre-installed for immediate recording. The unit suits home or small-business owners who need a complete local recording solution without cloud fees.

H.265 Compression and Multi-Platform Access

H.265 encoding reduces storage consumption by up to 40% compared with H.264, extending the 4TB drive's recording window. Live and recorded video can be viewed through the Goodeye or Xmeye mobile apps, a web browser or the VMS client on a PC. Backup is handled via USB flash drive or USB hard drive.

Straightforward BNC Installation with Camera Limits

Cameras connect to the 16 BNC inputs using standard coaxial cable; VGA and HDMI outputs link to a local monitor. The recorder accepts 1080p, 960p and 720p analog-format cameras up to 2.4MP but will not work with HD-SDI or higher-resolution models. Power is supplied by the included 12V DC 3000mA adapter.

Questions about this item

How long before the installed 4 TB Sata drive will need replacement under continuous recording?

The recorder ships with a 4 TB Sata drive and supports up to 8 TB; drive lifespan depends on write workload and operating temperature.

Which recording mode will fill the 4 TB drive first during sustained use?

Continuous recording uses the most space; H.265 compression saves up to 40 % more capacity than H.264, extending record time before the drive fills.

What power draw and heat output should I expect from the 12 V 3000 mA supply during all-day operation?

The unit draws up to 3000 mA at 12 V DC; with no internal fan specified, heat is dissipated passively through the chassis.
