16-Channel Hybrid DVR with 4 TB Storage

This 16-channel hybrid digital video recorder includes a pre-installed 4 TB hard drive for continuous recording. It accepts 1080p, 960p and 720p signals from TVI, AHD, CVI and traditional analog CVBS cameras. The unit is designed for homes or businesses that need coverage from up to sixteen wired cameras.

Upgrade from Smaller or Single-Format Recorders

Replacing a 4-channel or 8-channel recorder lets you add more cameras without a second DVR. Moving from an analog-only DVR adds support for 1080p and 960p HD formats over the same coaxial cables. The jump is worth it when you need more channels or higher-resolution footage from existing wiring.

Limits of Coaxial Camera Interface

The recorder works only with wired cameras connected via coaxial cable; it does not support IP cameras or wireless links. Maximum recording resolution is 1080p, so 4K or higher-resolution sensors cannot be used at full quality. Remote viewing requires an internet connection and the Xmeye app or CMS software on a phone, tablet or PC.
