48-port UPOE line card

The C9400-LC-48UX is a Catalyst 9400 line card that delivers 48 UPOE ports in a single module. It combines 24 multi-gigabit ports with 24 standard RJ-45 ports for mixed-speed deployments. Network teams use it to add high-density powered access to an existing chassis.

mGig and RJ-45 port mix

Twenty-four ports operate at multi-gigabit speeds while the remaining twenty-four provide standard gigabit connectivity over RJ-45. All 48 ports supply UPOE power for phones, cameras and wireless access points. The fixed port split means you cannot adjust the ratio of multi-gigabit to standard ports after installation.

48 powered devices per module
