  • 195 W total PoE budget supports multiple access points and cameras
  • 128 Gbps switching bandwidth handles heavy traffic loads
  • ARMv7 800 MHz processor runs IOS LAN Lite for CLI and web management
  • Compact 1.73 in height fits standard 19 in racks easily

Enterprise-class fixed Gigabit switch for SMB IoT

The EVESKY WS-C2960L-24PQ-LL delivers 24 PoE+ ports with 195 W of available power for small- and medium-sized business deployments. It runs LAN Lite IOS on an ARMv7 800 MHz processor and provides simple management through CLI and an on-box web interface.

Sustained load behaviour

Forwarding bandwidth of 64 Gbps and switching bandwidth of 128 Gbps handle continuous traffic across all 24 ports without oversubscription. The fixed configuration maintains consistent throughput for critical IoT devices under extended operation.

Upgrade path and fit

Replaces older 10/100 switches or non-PoE Gigabit units when PoE+ power and enterprise IOS features are required. The jump is justified when connected devices need up to 195 W total PoE budget and LAN Lite software capabilities.

Questions about this item

How much heat and power draw should I expect when the WS-C2960L-24PQ-LL runs 24/7 with all 24 PoE+ ports loaded?

The switch has a 195 W PoE budget and a 128 Gbps switching fabric; with all 24 ports active it will draw enough power to supply that budget plus the 800 MHz ARMv7 processor, so plan for continuous heat output matching a fully loaded 195 W PoE supply.

What cabling and power infrastructure must I already have to install the WS-C2960L-24PQ-LL?

You need 24 Category 5e or better Ethernet cables for the 10/100/1000 ports, a standard AC outlet for the internal power supply, and a rack or shelf that fits the 1.73 x 17.5 x 10.45 in chassis weighing 7.39 lb.

Will the WS-C2960L-24PQ-LL work alongside my older 10/100 switches and legacy devices?

Yes, each of the 24 ports auto-negotiates down to 10 or 100 Mbps, so legacy endpoints and older switches connect without configuration changes while the 64 Gbps forwarding bandwidth handles mixed traffic.
