Low-Noise Tape Dispenser

The Excell LowNoise Carton Sealing Tape Dispenser is a handheld tool designed for quiet carton sealing. Its mousetrap noise saver design minimises unpleasant dispensing sounds. The unit is built from a one-piece aluminium construction with a natural rubber roller and an anti-rust blade. A retractable safety blade cuts tape only when the plate is pressed against a surface.

Tape Compatibility Check

Verify that your packaging tape rolls have an outside diameter no larger than five inches to fit this dispenser. The supplier notes it works well with low-noise UPVC tape such as the VF-719 from Shurtape. Ensure the tape width matches the three-inch capacity of the device. A static cling strip holds the tape ready after each cut.

Suited For Quiet Environments

This dispenser suits packers in settings where minimising sound is important, such as homes or workplaces supporting people with sensory sensitivities. The quiet operation benefits users who find standard dispenser noise disruptive. Buyers needing a dispenser for wider industrial rolls or heavier automated case sealing should look at other equipment.

Questions about this item

Does the Excell LowNoise dispenser include a roll of tape or must I buy the UPVC tape separately?

The dispenser is sold without tape; you need to purchase a compatible low-noise UPVC roll such as the VF-719 from Shurtape separately.

The description mentions a 5-inch maximum roll diameter — how do I know which tape width matches the 3-inch dispenser?

This model is built for 3-inch wide rolls; choose any low-noise UPVC tape with a 3-inch width and an outside diameter up to 5 inches.

How does the mousetrap noise-saver design and retractable blade affect everyday sealing speed?

The mousetrap mechanism cuts tape only when the plate presses the carton, while the natural rubber roller and static cling strip keep the tape ready, giving quiet, controlled dispensing without slowing the operator.
