Excell RT-8 Tape Dispenser Overview

The Excell RT-8 is a hand-held carton sealing tape dispenser designed for 2-inch wide tape rolls. It uses a push-flap mechanism that extends a retractable blade only when pressed against a surface. A natural rubber roller and side-loading design with an adjustable brake support smooth dispensing. The unit is finished in blue and grey.

Suited for Packing Stations Not Heavy Automation

This dispenser suits warehouse staff, shipping departments or home users who seal cartons manually and want a blade that stays guarded until needed. The adjustable brake lets operators set tension for different tape grades. It is not intended for automated case sealers or high-volume lines that require powered applicators or wider tape formats.

Hand Tool That Needs Standard Carton Tape

The RT-8 works with standard 2-inch pressure-sensitive carton sealing tape on a 3-inch core. Its side loader allows quick roll changes without tools. The static cling strip holds the tape end ready for the next seal, reducing waste. Anti-rust blades and a replaceable core assembly keep the dispenser in service longer. No power source or mounting hardware is required.
