Dual-monitor KVM for two PCs

This DisplayPort KVM switch lets two computers share two monitors and three USB 3.0 peripherals. It supports both extended and copy display modes so you can spread work across screens or mirror them. Switching between hosts is instant for a smoother multi-system workflow.

8K60 and 4K240 video with USB 3.0 sharing

The unit passes video up to 8K at 60 Hz and is backward compatible with 4K at 240 Hz, 120 Hz, 60 Hz and 30 Hz. Three USB 3.0 ports deliver 5 Gbps data transfer for keyboards, mice, printers or scanners and remain compatible with USB 2.0 devices. An external 5 V 2 A adapter is required when high-power peripherals such as hard disks are connected.

DP 1.4 cabling and desktop controller

Reliable 8K operation depends on using DP 1.4 cables between the switch, monitors and computers. A wired desktop controller provides tactile switching without reaching behind the desk. The metal enclosure aids heat dissipation and the compact footprint fits neatly between dual-monitor stands.

Questions about this item

Will the DP 1.4 cables or the three USB 3.0 ports need replacement after heavy daily use?

The switch relies on DP 1.4 cables for 8K 60 Hz operation; cables can wear with frequent plugging, so keep spares. The three USB 3.0 ports are rated for standard mating cycles and do not have a user-replaceable module.

What is the first limit reached when both monitors run 4K 240 Hz continuously?

The DisplayPort 1.4 link bandwidth caps each monitor at 4K 240 Hz, so sustained use hits the link’s maximum throughput before any thermal throttle appears.

How much heat or fan noise does the unit produce when powered all day with two 8K displays?

The device has no fan and draws power from the hosts plus an optional 5 V 2 A adapter; it stays warm to the touch but silent during continuous dual-8K or dual-4K 240 Hz operation.
