Suited for dual-system desks.

Ideal for users who need to share one display and USB peripherals between a pair of PCs, laptops or consoles such as PS4, PS4 Pro, PS3, Xbox One or a TV box. It works driver-free with Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, XP, Mac OS and Linux. Buyers who require more than one monitor or more than two connected systems should look elsewhere.

8K@60Hz over HDMI decides fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the maximum video bandwidth of 8K at 60 Hz over HDMI. If your monitor and source devices support this rate, the switch will pass the signal without compression. If your workflow demands higher refresh rates or additional display outputs, this device will not meet those needs.
