Retractable CAT6 cable with male-female RJ45

This flat orange cable extends to 50 feet and retracts into a compact reel measuring 3 x 5.1 x 6.5 inch. The unique male-female connectors allow two units to cascade for a 100-foot run. It supports 1 Gbps data transfer and includes a free 1 m patch cable.

Suits technicians setting up temporary networks

The flat profile slides under carpets without creating bumps, and the retractable mechanism keeps excess length tidy. Buyers who need a permanently installed solid-core cable or a shielded design for high-interference environments should look elsewhere.

Behaviour during extended use

The UTP construction delivers consistent 1 Gbps throughput across the full 15 metre length. The reel mechanism is rated for repeated extension and retraction cycles, and the flat jacket resists kinking when pulled out or wound back under sustained daily deployment.

Questions about this item

What devices need an RJ45 port to connect this cable?

Any network device with a standard RJ45 jack — router, switch, laptop, desktop, or patch panel — can plug directly into the male or female connector on this CAT6 cable.

Can I cascade this 50 ft orange cable with the 33 ft green version to reach 100 ft?

Yes, the male-female RJ45 design lets you connect a second EXTNGO cable, so the 50 ft orange and 33 ft green units combine for runs up to 100 ft.

How do I verify the link is running at 1 Gbps after setup?

Check the connection status on your computer or switch; it should report a 1 Gbps link speed when the flat CAT6 cable is fully extended and seated.
