MoCA POE Splitter with 6kV Surge Protection

The Extreme POE-BB1SP-VF is a MoCA filter integrated into a surge-protected ground block for coaxial networks. It stops frequencies above 1 GHz from leaving the premises, preserving MoCA signal integrity. The unit suits installers who need a compact demarcation-point device that combines filtering, bonding and surge protection in one housing.

Passive Coaxial Filter Limits

The splitter blocks MoCA frequencies from escaping the home network while allowing normal RF distribution to continue. It does not amplify signals or provide active MoCA bridging between ports. Installers requiring bidirectional MoCA communication across all output ports must use a compatible active amplifier instead of this passive filter block.

Integrated 6kV Surge Rating

The bonding block is rated to withstand 6 kV surges, protecting connected equipment from lightning-induced transients on the coaxial line. This single specification determines whether the device meets the lightning-protection requirements of a given installation. No other surge rating or clamping voltage is provided for this model.

Questions about this item

What does the DataComm feature do on this splitter?

DataComm lets MoCA signals pass between the passive data port and every active output on the 2000 series Infinity Premise Amplifier, and it can be left disabled if you prefer to block MoCA at the data port.

How does the 6 kV surge rating protect the installation?

The integrated bonding block is rated to withstand a 6 kV surge event, shielding connected MoCA devices and the wider network from transient voltage spikes at the demarcation point.

What makes the True Flex housing easier to mount?

The True Flex housing snaps directly into any Infinity Premise Enclosure without extra brackets or screws, cutting installation time and component count.
