Bin-Mount Strip-Cut Shredder

The EXTRIC 123 is a compact strip-cut paper shredder designed for home and small-office use. It mounts directly over an existing waste bin using an extendable arm, eliminating the need for a built-in basket. The unit shreds up to seven sheets per pass into 0.23 strips and includes a dedicated credit card slot.

Light-Duty Users Needing Space Savings

This shredder suits individuals who destroy occasional mail, bills and receipts and want to reclaim floor space. The bin-mount design fits standard cans and stores easily in a drawer when not in use. Buyers who need continuous high-volume destruction or finer cross-cut particles should consider other solutions.

7-Sheet Strip-Cut Capacity

The maximum feed is seven sheets of standard paper at once, producing strip-cut particles measuring 0.23 width. This single specification defines the throughput and security level for every shredding task. Exceeding the sheet count will trigger the jam-proof reverse mechanism.

Questions about this item

How hot does the EXTRIC 123 get during its 2-minute continuous run cycle?

Built-in overheat protection automatically pauses the shredder after 2 minutes of use, letting the motor cool before you resume shredding.

What size waste bin do I need so the extendable arm clamps securely?

The arm extends an extra 4.5 inches to fit standard trash cans; measure your bin opening to confirm it falls within that range.

Will my older strip-cut documents still be readable if I mix them with the 0.23-inch strips from this model?

This shredder produces 0.23-inch strips; mixing them with wider strips from an older machine reduces overall security because the larger pieces remain easier to reconstruct.
