Eyemax 4MP turret camera

The Eyemax turret is a 4 megapixel IP network camera built for indoor and outdoor surveillance. A 1/3-inch progressive-scan CMOS sensor captures video at up to 30 frames per second through a fixed 2.8 mm lens. Smart H.265+ and Smart H.264+ dual codecs reduce bandwidth while keeping detail. The white housing carries an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.

Upgrade from basic 1080p units

Replacing a 1080p camera with this 4MP model quadruples the pixel count, so faces and plates stay readable across wider scenes. Dual-stream encoding lets you record high quality locally while streaming a lighter feed for remote viewing. The jump pays off when you need one device to cover a driveway, doorway or car park without adding extra cameras.

ArcticPro cold-weather operation

The ArcticPro series keeps working down to minus 40 °C, so recording continues through deep freezes without heater accessories. Smart IR illuminates subjects up to 30 m (98.43 ft) while preventing close-range over-exposure. Power-over-Ethernet or 12 V DC options simplify cabling for long cable runs in harsh climates.

Questions about this item

What mounting pattern does the turret base use for wall or ceiling installation?

The camera ships with a three-screw mounting template; drill the holes to match the supplied bracket.

Which power method should I use first when connecting the camera to a PoE switch?

Connect the Ethernet cable to the PoE port; the camera will draw power automatically and the 12 V DC input can remain unused.

How do I clean the IR window without reducing the 30 m night range?

Wipe the front glass with a soft lint-free cloth and mild detergent; avoid abrasive pads that could scratch the Smart IR coating.
