Indoor HD-SDI dome camera for 1080p surveillance

The Eyemax XDL-202V is a wired indoor dome camera that captures 1080p and 720p video over an HD-SDI link. A 1/3 inch Sony CMOS sensor delivers over 1000 TV lines of resolution. True day/night operation with an ICR filter and wide dynamic range handles contrasting light. The varifocal lens covers 2.8 to 12 mm with DC auto-iris control.

Verify recorder and power before ordering

Your DVR must accept an HD-SDI input at 1080p or 720p; analog CVBS or IP recorders will not work. The camera requires a 12V DC supply only; confirm the power source matches this voltage. Coaxial cabling suitable for serial digital signals is needed between camera and recorder. OSD settings are adjusted locally, so allow physical access during setup.

Suits installers needing a single HD-SDI indoor dome

This unit fits projects that specify HD-SDI infrastructure and a varifocal indoor dome. Buyers who need infrared illumination, outdoor weatherproofing, or IP-network connectivity should look elsewhere. Systems built on analog CVBS, AHD, TVI or CVI standards cannot use this camera. Multi-sensor or panoramic coverage requirements are not met by this single-lens model.

Questions about this item

Does the box include a power supply or do I need to source a 12V DC adapter separately?

The camera operates on 12V DC only; a compatible power supply must be purchased separately as none is included.

Should I choose the 1080p or 720p output mode for the HD-SDI recorder?

Select 1080p to match the 1/3 inch Sony CMOS sensor’s native resolution; 720p is available if the recorder or cabling cannot handle full HD.

Will the 1000 TV line resolution be visible on a standard HD-SDI monitor?

Yes, the 1000 TV line rating exceeds 1080p horizontal detail so the monitor will display the full resolved image.
