Ultra-Light 1D Pocket Scanner
Weighing 35g and measuring 1.23oz, this mini scanner fits in a pocket and targets mobile retail staff, warehouse pickers and bookstore clerks who need a lightweight 1D reader for UPC, EAN, Code39, Code128 and other common linear barcodes. It connects to Windows XP through Win10, Android and iOS devices via three switchable modes: Bluetooth, 2.4G dongle or USB wired. The product is not for users who need 2D code capture or the ability to scan barcodes displayed on screens.
Battery Life and Thermal Behaviour
A 650mAh rechargeable cell delivers up to 5 hours of continuous scanning after a 2 hour charge and holds standby power for 30 days. Normal operation stays cool and silent because the device has no active cooling; power draw is limited to the low current required for the laser engine and wireless radios. No thermal throttling or fan noise occurs during typical shift-length sessions.
Storage Mode and Configuration Extras
16MB of onboard memory stores more than 100000 codes in offline storage mode, letting staff scan away from the host and upload later. Users can toggle sound and vibration feedback, add or hide prefixes and suffixes, and switch instantly between instant-upload and storage modes without software installation. The 2.4G link reaches 15m or 49ft in obstructed environments, while Bluetooth covers 10m line-of-sight.
