What the kit includes

The EZDIY-FAB kit supplies five sleeved extension cables: one 24-pin ATX, one 4+4-pin EPS, two 8-pin PCIe and two 6-pin PCIe. Each cable measures 300 mm and uses 16 AWG wire with a triple-layer nylon sleeve. Black combs are provided for every cable to keep runs aligned. The extensions plug into existing PSU cables and cannot connect directly to the power supply.

Who benefits and who does not

Builders wanting a uniform black aesthetic and easier routing behind the motherboard tray will appreciate the extra length and included combs. Systems that already have short factory cables or tight clearance behind the panel gain useful slack. Users who need to plug cables straight into a modular PSU socket should look elsewhere, because these are extensions only. Anyone requiring coloured sleeves or different connector counts will not find them in this package.

Capacity and headroom

The 16 AWG conductors handle typical ATX, EPS and PCIe power loads without overheating. The 300 mm reach covers most mid-tower and full-tower layouts, letting you route cables cleanly around bends. Very large cases or unconventional PSU mounting positions may exhaust the available length. The fixed connector set supports one motherboard, one CPU and up to two graphics cards; builds with additional GPUs or extra EPS connectors will need supplementary extensions.
