FAIYOU A3 Mini Security Camera 1920x1080

The FAIYOU A3 is a compact security camera designed for discreet home monitoring. Its 65x26x15mm black body allows placement in tight spaces where larger units cannot fit. The device targets users needing simple indoor surveillance without complex wiring. It records video directly to local storage for immediate access.

Installation via USB-C and microSD card

Setup requires inserting a microSD card up to 128GB and connecting the USB-C cable for power. The camera lacks built-in battery or PoE support, so continuous mains power is essential. A common issue is forgetting to format the card before first use, which prevents recording. The PIR motion sensor must face the monitored area without obstructions.

1080p recording with 128GB local storage headroom

At 1920x1080 resolution and 25fps, the camera captures clear daytime footage using MJPG encoding in AVI format. The 128GB maximum capacity holds several days of continuous video before overwriting. Night vision switches to IR automatically in low light. Storage runs out quickly at the higher 1080p setting compared to 1280x720p. Buyers needing cloud backup or multi-camera central management cannot use this standalone unit.
