  • Ball-bearing motor ensures long continuous-run life

Frequency Converter Fan 133 mm

The Fans D2D133-AB06-30/31 is a new frequency converter cooling fan built for industrial and commercial equipment. Its 133 mm frame and 68 mm motor suit drive-cooling duties in medical devices, rail vehicles, hotel systems, supermarkets, new-energy vehicles and electronic products.

IP44 protection and IEC 60990 limits

The housing meets IP44 ingress protection, though the rating is installation- and position-dependent. Touch current stays below 0.75 mA per IEC 60990 measuring circuit Figure 4 on a TN system, and insulation class F with moisture protection H0+ and environmental class F1-1 define the electrical safety envelope.

3.9 kg galvanised steel construction

Sheet-steel galvanised housing and impeller plus a steel grille coated in white-aluminium plastic RAL 9006 give structural rigidity for continuous S1 operation. Ball bearings support the unpainted rotor running counter-clockwise, and the unit mounts in any position without condensation drainage holes.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 30 or 31 version of this frequency converter fan?

Both 30 and 31 share the same 133 mm size, 3.9 kg weight, IP44 protection and ball-bearing motor; the difference is in the supplier part suffix only.

What does the IP44 rating mean once the fan is installed in my equipment?

IP44 gives protection against solid objects over 1 mm and water splashes from any direction, but the exact rating depends on mounting orientation and position.

How does the IEC 60990 touch-current limit of 0.75 mA affect safety in a TN system?

The measured touch current stays below 0.75 mA under the IEC 60990 Figure 4 circuit, meeting the requirement for TN-system installations.
