SKU CH-5RWX-NMWQG MPN GDRM-35-133B-2Motor

Centrifugal fan rated 240 W at 230 V draws 1.1 A for ABB inverter cooling

  • Reduces ABB inverter maintenance costs with original CESOTEC centrifugal design
  • 240 W motor delivers reliable cooling for industrial drives
  • 230 V 1.1 A supply suits standard three-phase cabinets
  • Compact structure fits tight excitation cabinet spaces
  • Long service life lowers replacement frequency in continuous operation

Centrifugal Fan for ABB Inverter Cooling

The GDRM-35-133B-2Motor is a 240W centrifugal fan operating at 230V with a 1.1A current draw. It is designed as an original replacement component for ABB excitation cabinets and inverters. Industrial maintenance teams and plant engineers use it to restore reliable ventilation in demanding environments.

Direct Replacement for Worn Original Units

This fan replaces the factory-fitted ebm-papst unit inside ABB drives when airflow drops or bearing noise rises. The jump is worth it when an existing inverter shows overheating alarms or reduced output caused by a degraded cooling assembly. Swapping the fan restores the thermal margin the drive was designed for.

Verify Cabinet Fit and Electrical Match

Confirm the physical mounting pattern and blade clearance inside your specific ABB cabinet before ordering. Check that the supply voltage is 230V and that the drive’s fan control circuit can handle a 1.1A inductive load. Ensure the replacement matches the original part number exactly to avoid airflow direction errors.

Questions about this item

What are the voltage and current requirements for the GDRM-35-133B-2Motor fan?

The fan operates at 230 V and draws 1.1 A. Ensure the power supply matches these ratings exactly.

How is the GDRM-35-133B-2Motor centrifugal fan installed in an ABB excitation cabinet?

Mount the fan in the designated cabinet cut-out, secure it with the original fixing points, and connect the 230 V supply to the terminal block; the common error is reversing the live and neutral conductors.

When should the GDRM-35-133B-2Motor fan be replaced in an ABB inverter?

Replace the fan if airflow drops, bearing noise appears, or the inverter thermal protection trips; the unit is rated for long service life under continuous 240 W operation.
