New original radiator for Lenovo Thinkpad L450

This new original radiator is a CPU heatsink cooling fan cooler built for the Lenovo Thinkpad L450. It fits buyers who need a direct replacement for part numbers 01HW916 and EG50050S1-C920-S9A. The component restores factory cooling performance in a compatible notebook. It is not for buyers who want a universal external pad or a different form factor.

Practical limits of the laptop cooling interface

The cooler mounts inside the chassis using the existing screw pattern and connects to the onboard fan header. Thermal capacity is defined by the original heatsink design and the single included fan. Builders who need higher airflow or a larger fin stack cannot meet that need with this part. No external power or software control is required beyond the system board.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 01HW916 or the EG50050S1-C920-S9A version for my ThinkPad L450?

Both codes refer to the same original CPU heatsink and fan assembly, so either listing points to the identical replacement part for the L450.

What does the 01HW916 radiator actually do once it is fitted inside the L450?

It mounts directly on the processor, draws heat away through its fins and the integrated fan exhausts that heat out of the chassis, restoring the laptop's intended thermal performance.
