Fans MF15B-05 5V 0.06A 15x15x5mm mini fan server accessory

SKU CH-K7AV-9823P

Pack of 100 new 5 V 0.06 A 15 mm square mini fans for server cooling

  • Ultra-compact 15 x 15 x 5 mm footprint fits tight server bays
  • Low 5 V 0.06 A draw reduces power-load on backplanes
  • Supplied in 100-piece packs for volume deployments
  • Brand-new condition ensures reliable out-of-box operation

Compact server cooling fan

This 5 V DC axial fan measures 15 mm square by 5 mm thick and draws 0.06 A. It is designed for tight spaces inside servers, network appliances or embedded chassis where airflow must be directed over small heatsinks or voltage regulators. The 100-piece pack suits system integrators and maintenance teams who need a ready supply for multiple units.

Buyers who need higher airflow or a larger frame

The 15 mm footprint limits static pressure and volume, so this model will not satisfy cooling demands for high-wattage CPUs, GPU zones or full-size server bays. It also lacks PWM control or tachometer feedback, making it unsuitable for builds that require monitored variable-speed operation.

Questions about this item

What does the 5 V rating mean when the MF15B-05 is installed in a server?

The fan runs directly from a 5 V header or pin header on the motherboard, drawing 0.06 A, so it adds minimal load to the 5 V rail while providing spot cooling for tight spaces.

How does the two-wire 5 V interface limit speed control on this 15 x 15 x 5 mm fan?

With only power and ground wires the MF15B-05 runs at a fixed speed whenever voltage is present; PWM or voltage regulation requires a three- or four-wire header, which this model does not have.
