Centrifugal fan for ABB inverters

The RD25S-4EW.4I.DL is a new German-engineered centrifugal fan built for ABB inverter cooling. It runs on 230 V input and draws 3.0 A at 660 W motor power. The 250 mm blade diameter spins at 880 rpm to deliver airflow up to 35000 m3/h. It suits industrial environments such as cement plants, power stations and HVAC systems.

Direct replacement reduces maintenance

The unit is designed as a direct fit for ABB drives used in compressors, cranes, elevators and cooling towers. Its external rotor motor and sturdy steel plate construction cut maintenance costs and raise inverter reliability. Custom processing is available under order number 121825 for specific integration needs.

Verify voltage, current and mounting

Confirm your system supplies 230 V and can handle the 3.0 A current draw. Check that the 250 mm blade diameter and 880 rpm speed match the original fan specifications. Ensure the mounting pattern aligns with your ABB inverter housing before ordering.

Questions about this item

How often does the RD25S-4EW.4I.DLMotor centrifugal fan need maintenance?

The fan uses a compact external-rotor motor and sturdy steel-plate construction designed to reduce maintenance cost and increase reliability for ABB inverter cooling.

What limits continuous operation of the 230 V 660 W model?

The motor draws 3.0 A at 880 rpm; sustained loads beyond its rated 660 W can cause thermal trips or winding overheating.

How much noise and heat does the 250 mm blade produce at 35000 m³/h airflow?

At full speed the fan moves 35000 m³/h; expect noticeable airflow noise and motor heat typical of a 660 W industrial centrifugal unit running all day.
