Share four USB peripherals across four computers with push-button switching and 5 Gbps data transfer
The FANTEC KVM switch connects four USB peripherals to four different computers, letting each system access the shared devices at the press of a button. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds up to 5Gbps and remains backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 hardware. No drivers or software are required for operation. LED indicators show which computer is currently active.
This switch suits professionals or home-office workers who rotate between several PCs, laptops or Macs and want a single keyboard, mouse, printer or external drive without unplugging cables. It does not serve buyers who need video switching or monitor sharing between those computers. Users requiring more than four host connections or dedicated charging ports should look at a different solution.
Installation is limited to connecting the four upstream cables to each computer and the downstream devices to the switch front panel. The unit draws power from the host ports, so no external adapter is needed. Switching is handled by a physical button; there is no hot-key or software utility. The most common issue is insufficient bus power when multiple high-draw drives are attached simultaneously.

Yes, the switch provides four upstream and four downstream USB ports, so you must provide the cables that link each computer and each peripheral to the unit.
The switch is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1, so older keyboards, mice and other low-speed devices will function normally.
An LED on the front panel lights up to show which of the four connected computers currently has access to the shared peripherals.
