External Blu-ray drive with USB 3.0

This external Blu-ray player reads and writes CDs and DVDs while also serving as a USB 3.0 hub with four ports and two card slots. It connects to Windows, macOS or Linux computers without extra drivers and includes a carrying case for transport. The plug-and-play design suits laptops and desktops that lack an internal optical drive.

Sustained read and write performance

The drive reaches maximum speeds of 24x for CDs and 8x for DVDs over a USB 3.0 link rated at 5 Gigabits per second. Strong error correction keeps data integrity steady during long burning sessions, while anti-slip and quiet mechanisms reduce vibration and noise under continuous load.

Compatibility and setup checks

Verify that your computer has a free USB-A port for the host connection and that the operating system is Windows 7 through 11, macOS or a current Linux distribution. No separate power adapter is required, but ensure the host port can supply enough bus power for the drive and any attached peripherals.
