What this mouse is

The Fantech Crypto II Wireless WG7V2 is a symmetric gaming mouse with a PixArt Instant S205 optical sensor offering up to 12000 DPI, 120 IPS tracking speed and 25 G acceleration. It connects via 2.4 GHz wireless with up to 30 hours of battery life or USB-C wired, weighs 89 g and measures 123 x 67 x 40 mm. Six programmable buttons, ARGB lighting in nine modes and a UV coating complete the package.

Who it suits and who should look elsewhere

The ambidextrous shape and 89 g weight suit both left- and right-handed players using palm or claw grips who want dual-mode connectivity without software dependence after setup. Buyers who need more than six buttons, a dedicated sniper button, a heavier chassis or Bluetooth connectivity will not find those features here.

The specification that decides fit

The 12000 DPI ceiling combined with 120 IPS and 25 G acceleration defines the sensor’s performance envelope; if your play style demands higher tracking speed or acceleration headroom, this mouse will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

How long will the 30-hour battery last before it needs replacing?

The internal battery delivers up to 30 hours per charge in 2.4 GHz wireless mode and can be recharged via the USB-C cable; no user-replaceable cell is specified.

At 120 IPS and 25 G acceleration, what limit appears first during extended play?

The PixArt S205 sensor is rated for 120 IPS tracking speed and 25 G acceleration, so sustained swipes faster than 120 inches per second will hit the tracking ceiling first.

Does the UV-coated shell and ARGB lighting make the mouse run hot or loud after all-day use?

The mouse has no fan or moving parts, so it produces no audible noise; the UV coating and ARGB lighting add negligible heat during continuous operation.
