This Fasgear FG-16PF01 cable extends the 12V-2x6 connection from a power supply to a compatible GPU. It is built for cards that use a 16-pin (12+4) port such as the RTX 3090Ti, 4070Ti, 4080, 4090, 5070, 5070Ti and 5080. The extension adds 30 cm of reach and requires three free 8-pin PCIe sockets on the PSU. It does not work with 12-pin or 8-pin GPU connectors.

600 W capacity on 16 AWG tinned copper

The cable is rated for up to 600 W and uses 16 AWG tinned copper conductors, which are thicker than standard 18 AWG wire. Three 8-pin female plugs feed a single 12+4-pin male plug, with two of the four sense pins carrying power and two as ground. Using fewer than three 8-pin connections risks system damage. The 12V-2x6 interface is backward compatible with 12VHPWR ports.

Nylon-braided jacket with cable combs

A black nylon braided sleeve covers the wires and four included cable combs keep the runs tidy inside the case. The 30 cm length is suited to routing behind a motherboard tray or along a PSU shroud without excess slack. Connectors are male-to-female so the extension sits between the PSU cables and the graphics card. The sleeved construction resists abrasion during installation and maintenance.
