Fortishred 2250c cross-cut shredder

The Fellowes Fortishred 2250c is a cross-cut paper shredder built for small offices with three to five users. It meets government-approved P-4 security standards and handles DVDs, CDs, credit cards, staples, paper clips and junk mail. The continuous-duty motor supports round-the-clock operation with minimal power consumption. TAA compliance makes it suitable for federal procurement.

20-gallon pull-out bin and Safety Shield

The 20-gallon pull-out bin reduces the frequency of emptying during high-volume shredding sessions. An electronically controlled Safety Shield stops the shredder immediately when the bin is opened, protecting users from moving parts. Automatic start and stop functions streamline workflow by activating the motor only when paper is inserted. The unit fits beside a desk without requiring special mounting or external ventilation.

SilentShred quiet performance and 20 ft/min speed

SilentShred technology delivers ultra-quiet performance appropriate for shared workspaces and open-plan offices. The shredder processes up to 22 sheets per pass at a rate of 20 feet per minute, producing cross-cut particles measuring 0.16 by 1.56 inches. The continuous-duty motor maintains consistent throughput without thermal throttling during extended use. Energy-efficient operation keeps power draw low during both active shredding and standby periods.
