Professional Wire Binding Combs

These 3/8" diameter wire binding combs hold up to 80 sheets per spine and come in a pack of 25. They are designed for offices, schools and self-publishing projects that need a clean, double-loop finish. The black coils suit reports, hand-outs and presentations.

Durable Double-Loop Construction

The metal wire resists deformation during frequent handling and keeps pages aligned without snagging. No power draw, noise or thermal output is involved because the combs are passive consumables used with a separate binding machine. They store flat and require no maintenance.

Upgrade from Plastic Combs

These wire spines replace plastic comb bindings when a more rigid, professional appearance is required. The jump is worth it for documents that are handled often or need to lie completely flat. They are not suited for users who need a different punching pitch, a larger sheet capacity or a non-wire binding style.

Questions about this item

How do I install these 3/8 inch wire combs on a machine with a 32-hole pattern?

Use a wire-binding system with a 3:1 punching pitch; the 32-hole pattern aligns with the double-loop wire combs, then close the wire using the machine's wire closer.

Will the 3/8 inch wire combs need replacement after repeated opening and closing?

The durable double-loop wire design resists deformation, so the combs maintain their shape through normal handling and do not require periodic replacement.

What happens if I try to bind more than 80 sheets with the 3/8 inch combs?

The 80-sheet capacity is the maximum; exceeding it prevents the wire from closing properly and can damage the binding or the machine's closing mechanism.
