Professional Wire Binding Spines

Fellowes 5255401 wire binding spines come in a 25-pack of black double-loop combs. Each spine holds up to 100 sheets and uses a 32-hole pattern with 3:1 punching pitch. The steel construction provides a secure closure that permanently binds documents for a polished finish.

Upgrade from Plastic Combs

These wire spines replace plastic comb bindings when a more durable and professional appearance is required. The jump is worth it for reports that receive frequent handling or need to lie completely flat. The secure closure prevents pages from ripping out during heavy use.

For Office Document Finishing

Suits offices, schools and print shops producing bound reports, proposals or presentations up to 100 sheets. Not for users needing to bind thicker documents beyond the stated capacity. Buyers who require a different hole pattern or pitch should verify compatibility with their specific binding machine.

Questions about this item

What punching pitch and hole pattern do these .5-inch spines require?

They need a 3:1 pitch and 32-hole pattern, so check your machine specification before buying.

How do you close the wire comb after threading the pages?

Place the open comb in the machine's wire closer and pull the handle once — do not squeeze by hand or the loops will not align.

When should a bound booklet be re-bound with a new spine?

Replace the spine if the double loops deform, the closure gap widens, or pages start pulling loose from the 100-sheet stack.
