Desktop Tape Dispenser

The Fellowes 8032701 is a desktop tape dispenser built for office environments. Its weighted base keeps the unit steady on a desk during single-handed operation. The device accepts standard 3/4 inch tape refills on a 1 inch core.

Sustained Daily Use

The heavy base prevents sliding or tipping when tape is pulled repeatedly throughout the day. The sliding cylinder mechanism allows quick refill changes without interrupting workflow. Plastic construction resists wear from constant handling in busy settings.

Simple Setup and Care

Loading tape requires sliding out the middle cylinder, placing the roll, and threading the end through the cutter. The main issue arises if the roll is seated crookedly, which can cause the tape to bind or tear unevenly. Keeping the cutter blade free of adhesive residue maintains clean cuts.

Questions about this item

Does the Fellowes 8032701 dispenser generate any noise, heat or draw power when it sits on the desk all day?

No, the Fellowes 8032701 is a purely mechanical desktop dispenser with no motor, electronics or power connection, so it runs silently and produces no heat.

What tape refill must I already have for the Fellowes 8032701 to work?

You need a standard 3/4 inch wide tape roll on a 1 inch core; the middle cylinder slides out to accept that refill size.

Will the Fellowes 8032701 hold the older 1/2 inch tape rolls I still keep in the cupboard?

The dispenser is designed for 3/4 inch wide tape on a 1 inch core, so 1/2 inch rolls will not fit or feed correctly.
