Stapling capacity and staple type

The Fellowes LX860 is a compact desktop flat-clinch stapler designed for office use. It accepts half strips of 0.25 inch staples and handles up to 40 sheets of paper per staple. The flat-clinch mechanism folds staple legs flat against the paper for neater stacks and easier filing.

Staple supply and compatibility

Before ordering, confirm that your existing staple stock matches the half-strip format and 0.25 inch leg length. The unit holds 105 staples per load and uses Fellowes replacement staple reference 5162501. It does not support tacking or high-capacity stapling modes.

Operation and maintenance

The One Touch EasyPress design reduces the force needed for each staple, keeping hand strain low during repeated use. With no motor or battery, the stapler produces only the mechanical click of the clinch plate and draws no power. Routine care is limited to clearing occasional jams and refilling staple strips.
