Lock Assy 2" Dia 2.875" OD

The Fenner Drives lock assembly is a keyless bushing manufactured from oil-dipped steel. It provides a secure, keyless connection for shafts measuring two inches in diameter. The component carries the manufacturer part number 6202560 and was first listed by the maker in 2019.

Industrial Maintenance Teams

Maintenance crews needing a quick, keyless locking solution for two-inch shafts will find this assembly suitable. It is not intended for applications requiring a different shaft diameter or a keyed locking mechanism. Buyers who need a different bore size or a traditional keyway should look at other product lines.

Oil-Dipped Steel Finish

The oil-dipped coating on the steel body helps protect the bushing against corrosion during storage and initial operation. This finish reduces the need for immediate additional surface treatment after installation. No extra hardware, software or lubrication is included in the package.

Questions about this item

What shaft diameter does the 2" Dia lock assembly require for a secure fit?

The lock assembly is designed for a 2-inch shaft diameter, so the mating shaft must measure 2 inches for proper engagement.

Will the 2.875" OD allow this bushing to sit inside an existing hub bore of the same size?

Yes, the 2.875-inch outside diameter matches a hub bore of that size, letting the bushing seat fully without modification.

How can I confirm the 6202560 assembly is transmitting torque after installation?

After tightening, rotate the shaft by hand; the hub should turn together without slip, showing the keyless connection is engaged.
