DC-to-USB-C power adapter
This Fervit adapter converts a 5.5 mm × 2.1 mm DC barrel input into a USB-C output. It is intended for users who want to power USB-C laptops, tablets or phones from an existing 18 V–20 V DC source rated up to 140 W. The built-in PD trigger negotiates the required voltage automatically.
90-degree angled USB-C plug
The right-angle connector fits into tight spaces around crowded ports where a straight plug would not clear. An internal 140 W PD emulator trigger enables the adapter to request 5 V, 9 V, 15 V or 20 V at the currents listed in the specifications. Compatibility with QC 2.0 and QC 3.0 is also supported.
Check your DC source before ordering
Verify that your existing charger or power supply delivers 18 V–20 V and can supply the wattage your device needs — 65 W, 100 W or 140 W. The adapter only passes power through; it does not step voltage up or down. Ensure the barrel jack on your source matches the 5.5 mm × 2.1 mm centre-positive format.

Questions about this item
Will the built-in PD emulator trigger need replacement after extended use?
The adapter contains a built-in 140W DC20V 7A PD emulator trigger; it has no user-serviceable parts and is designed to last the life of the unit.
What input voltage limit will be reached first during continuous 140W output?
The adapter requires a DC 18V-20V input rated for 140W; if the source cannot maintain 20V at 7A, the output will be limited by the supply.
How much heat does the 90° plug generate when running at 140W all day?
The angled 5.5x2.1mm plug and USB-C output are passive components; heat depends on the source charger and cable quality rather than the adapter itself.
