65W DC to USB-C Adapter
This Fervit adapter converts a 2.5x0.7mm DC barrel input into an angled USB-C output delivering up to 65W. It is intended for users who want to power a USB-C laptop, tablet or phone from an existing 18V-20V DC supply. The 90-degree plug fits tight spaces around the device port.
PD and Quick Charge Protocols
The adapter negotiates power using USB Power Delivery and a range of Quick Charge standards including QC2.0, QC3.0, AFC, FCP and SCP. Output profiles are fixed at 5V/2A, 9V/3A, 15V/2A and 20V/3.25A, so the connected device must request one of these exact voltages. It cannot supply intermediate levels or exceed the 65W ceiling.
Check Your DC Source First
Verify that your DC power source provides between 18V and 20V and can deliver sufficient current for the 65W maximum. The barrel jack must match the 2.5x0.7mm centre-positive specification. Devices that require higher wattage or different voltage steps will not charge correctly.
