Dual USB 3.0 Header Adapter
This Fervit adapter converts a single 20 or 19 pin internal USB 3.0 motherboard header into two external USB Type-A ports. It is designed for system builders who need additional front-panel or internal USB connectivity without occupying a rear I/O slot. The horizontal PCB layout fits tight spaces inside the chassis.
Thermals Noise Power
The passive adapter draws power directly from the motherboard header and adds no active cooling or moving parts. It operates silently and produces negligible heat during normal file transfers or peripheral use. Power consumption stays within the header's standard 5 V supply limits.
Backward Compatibility Included
Because the USB 3.0 Type-A interface remains compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices, existing flash drives, wireless adapters and legacy peripherals work without extra drivers. The bundle contains only the adapter board itself; no cables, brackets or software discs are supplied.

Questions about this item
How do I install the 20-pin header onto my motherboard without bending pins?
Align the adapter's 20-pin connector with the motherboard's internal USB 3.0 header, press straight down until fully seated, then secure the bracket; the keyed shroud prevents reversed insertion.
What maintenance or replacement will the dual USB 3.0 Type-A ports need over time?
The ports are passive PCB-mounted connectors with no moving parts or firmware; only physical damage or debris accumulation would require replacing the entire adapter board.
What limit appears first when both ports run sustained 5 Gbps transfers?
The shared 20-pin header bandwidth caps combined throughput at 5 Gbps, so simultaneous heavy transfers on both ports will contend for that single upstream link.
